Position Summary: Seeking a Senior Financial Investigator to participate in the investigation and prosecution of complex criminal cases involving financial crimes, public corruption and cyber crimes. The investigator will work closely with Assistant Attorneys General, State Police detectives and Victim Witness Advocates, and will focus on victim and witness interviews as well as complex document and financial analysis components of investigations. The candidate will be involved in the development and implementation of training and mentoring programs as well as supervising the junior division staff.

Primary Duties: The Senior Financial Investigator will investigate allegations of criminal conduct and assist in the prosecution of criminal cases. The investigator will develop investigative plans; locate and interview victims, witnesses and targets; locate, obtain and analyze evidence, including public and financial records; prepare detailed interview reports; and testify in grand jury and court proceedings. The investigator will also work with division director to implement mentoring programs and supervise the junior staff.


Position Requirements: Demonstrated ability to successfully investigate allegations of criminal conduct; 3-5 years prior experience as an investigator; strong analytical and organizational skills; experience with word processing, database and spreadsheet software programs; strong report writing and verbal communication skills; a bachelor?s degree, preferably in criminal justice, accounting or another relevant area; and prior supervisory experience a plus.
